The field to fork farm CSA

We offer two CSA (community supported agriculture) options: 

  1. A 12 month Meat, Eggs and Dairy CSA for individuals and families looking for a regular supply of certified organic eggs, milk, and meats (chicken and pork) from pasture-raised and organically fed animals.

  2. And, we offer a six month CSA consisting of certified organic eggs and chicken and pork from pasture-raised and organically fed broilers and pigs. 

  • About our CSA:

    Eat local and organic from a small family farm and feel secure about the food you eat. A perfect complement to your current vegetable and fruit CSA, your own garden, or your farmer’s market purchases. 

    Join our CSA at field to fork farm and support local and organic farming and enjoy healthy, humanely raised food.  

    Come to the farm and learn how your food is raised and even acquire skills in food preparation. We love to exchange recipes and talk cooking!

    Our 77 acre farm has miles of trails, acres of organic certified hayfields and pasture, and even scenic views of the Boston skyline on a clear day.

Subscriber contribution:

  1. $125 a month for the 12 month CSA. 
  2. $160 a month for the 6 month CSA.  

We pledge to raise quality food and request CSA subscribers an up-front contribution of 1/4 of the subscription fee to be put towards organic feed and livestock care. 

Share Offerings:

The shares for the 2009 CSAs are sold out.  Please contact us if you are interested in joining the 2010 CSAs.

 

    1. Certified Organic Eggs 
    2. Unpasteurized milk 
    3. Organically fed, pasture and forest raised pigs  
    4. Organically fed and pasture raised broiler chickens

 

Allocations:

12 month CSA

  • One dozen eggs per week (year round)

  • Two gallons of milk per week for 9 months of the year from our certified organic and grass fed cow.

  • Half a pig (approximately 65 pounds) of various cuts including ham, chops, ribs, bacon and sausage. Pork will be available in the fall.  

  • Organic pasture raised broiler chickens.  25 whole chickens averaging 5.5 pounds available in the summer and fall.

Six month CSA

  • One dozen eggs per week for 6 months. 
  • Half a pig (approximately 65 pounds) of various cuts. 
  • 25 whole chickens averaging 5.5 pounds.

 

Delivery for pork and chicken will be required at time of processing because of limited freezer space at the farm. 

We also offer  goat meat and blended spices!
